Return Policy

Thank you for supporting small business! We reply to all messages within 24 hours, many times within hours of receipt. If there is a problem with your order, please contact us and let us know so we may resolve it. We do our best to process orders as quickly as they are received and cancellations are not always possible, we apologize for this. 

If you received an incorrect item due to a shipping error or a damaged product, no extra charges will be incurred. We will ship a replacement item and provide a return shipping label if necessary. Please provide a photo of the item received as quickly as possible. To expedite this processing, you may text it directly to our local customer service number.

Return shipping is only prepaid under specific circumstances. All of the tools are available for you to make an educated buying decision and we are also here to help. If the item will not work for you, if you found a better price, if you are not happy with or if you no longer want or ordered the incorrect item, you are responsible for the return shipping costs in accordance with the Standard Return Policy. 

Returns must be authorized by Akuna Outfitters using the Return Authorization process. You are responsible for shipping (including the cost and tracking) the item(s) back to our facility. Return shipping charges are not refundable. All returns must be postmarked no later than 30 days from the original customer shipment date.

We charge a restocking fee for returns that do not meet the requirements for a full refund. If the item in its original packaging cannot be put back on the store shelf as you received it, a restocking fee of up to 50% will be charged or the return may be rejected and destroyed. Any shipping charges are not refundable.

Any manufacturer warranty returns are handled as a courtesy and shipping must be paid by the customer. Many manufacturers do not allow this courtesy and will handle warranty issues directly with our customer. We will provide their information to you when this is the case.

Electrical Parts, Trolling Motors, Electronics, Engine Parts, Engine Controls & Control Cables, Propellers, Maps and Service Manuals are NOT returnable if installed, tried or opened. All life jackets must have the tags attached. If the item returned has been used, tried, damaged, dirty, or damaged packaging, the customer will receive a partial refund NOT receive credit. We may refuse to accept returns for worn or used items. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Returns MUST include the RMA number, credit is usually issued within 7-14 business days of receipt of the item to our facility. This timeline can vary depending on the return location.
